Inside The Theatre Depot
The Theatre Depot is a Lancashire scenic and costume specialist. We design and build scenic sets, hire scenery, and supply costumes and props from our Blackpool workshop.
We sit between the designer’s drawings and the night the curtain goes up — building sets, dressing stages, sourcing costumes, hiring props. The work covers professional theatre, touring productions, dance schools, schools and colleges, and corporate events.
Two strands, one roof

Scenic hire & build
Custom builds to drawings, hire stock, scenic finishing, install and strike — straight out of the workshop.
Costumes & props
Theatrical, period, dance, and fancy-dress costume hire — plus props, set dressing, alterations — through our Sugar Plum Costumes division.
Most productions need both at once. We keep it under one roof so the people putting the show together aren’t chasing four suppliers.

Blackpool workshop. North West reach.
Workshop and trade counter at Unit 9, Lynx House, Brinwell Road, Blackpool FY4 4QU. Most of our work lands within an hour’s drive — across the Fylde Coast, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Liverpool, and the wider North West — but we’ll travel for the right project.
